EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT NOTICE

Why an Employee Policy Handbook?

Sample Policy Statements – includes various individual policies that employers might consider or use as a basis to develop their own policy handbook or to supplement an existing handbook. The sample policies cover many areas of concern in the workplace, and also includes disclaimers and employee acknowledgment forms. These policies are merely guidelines; no single policy can be designed so that it fits the needs of each individual employer. It is always recommended that the employer draft the contents and then have a lawyer review the contents to ensure that all legal requirements are met.

The Exit Interview Survey (Form S-9) is used to gather feedback from employees about the job and to determine why they are leaving, to learn what areas of the company may need improvement, and reduce turnover in the future. A well-conducted exit interview can reduce the likelihood of a discrimination charge or having the separated employee inappropriately apply for unemployment compensation.
